The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is a worldwide professional organization of computer practitioners, founded in 1947, is the world's first scientific and educational computer society, and is now the world's largest computer-related society.

ACM publishes a large number of specialized journals in computer science each year, and has interest groups on each specialty. The Interest Group also organises seminars and talks around the world each year for members to share their research findings. In recent years, ACM has actively developed online learning channels for members to enhance their professional skills outside of work or at home. By the end of the 20th century, ACM had more than 75,000 members worldwide, including students and computer professionals in academia, industry, research, and government. The highest honor for a member is Fellow.

ACM serves local and regional groups by supporting more than 700 professional and student organizations worldwide. About 20 percent of them are outside the United States. These organizations provide services to professionals, gather information, prepare lectures, organize seminars and competitions. ACM hosts eight major awards to recognize technical and professional achievements in the field of computing. The top prize is the Turing Award, often described as the Nobel Prize of computing.

Now ICDIS2024 has got the publishing support of ACM! Accepted papers of ICDIS2024 will be published by ACM. For more information, please see the CFP page.
